The authors of this site have been concerned with electronic signs since 1992.
In 1992 we installed & then provided operation services to the first electronic sign in Russia, Moscow, in Tverskaya st. (Hotel Intourist).
The same year we united a group of specialists that started to work upon the systems of sign broadcasting management. We are constantly extending the opportunities of this system. And now it is applied to different types of sign displays.
In 1994 we gave advice & helped the specialists to install and start the sign at Teatralnaya square near the Bolshoy theatre in Moscow and at Petrovsky stadium in St-Petersburg.
In 1996 our group started the sign in Barnaoul.
In 1996 our specialists did fieldwork at assembly plants in the USA.
In 1997 our group installed & started the panel at Poklonnaya hill in Moscow.
In 1997 our specialists worked out the ground and main principles of new directions “Outdoor Video” © & “Outdoor TV” ©.
In the beginning of 1998 we took out a patent for “Info-advertising System”, “The Net of Info-Advertising Systems” & “The System of Outdoor Television” that assigned the pioneer status in the sphere of Outdoor TV & Video to Russia.
At the same time we published an article “Outdoor Video is Today's Reality” (Computerworld Russia, April 28, 1998, #15 (128).
Since February 1998 we've started to create the first specialized site in the world - www.tv-sign.ru - that is devoted to Outdoor Video & TV, electronic sign displays, advertising at electronic sign displays, general scientific & technical questions and problems in this sphere.
In July 1998 our group started the large electronic sign display in Novosibirsk, gave advice to & taught the operating personnel.
